Total client satisfaction
Telehouse's ambition is to provide exemplary client satisfaction across all of its business areas. Telehouse works continually to secure the company's future by improving the quality of its key services and adding value through new, innovative developments.
As a major international neutral hosting provider, security lies at the very heart of Telehouse's business model and activities. Telehouse's data centres feature substantial technical and human resources to guarantee the physical and logical security of our clients' data and to ensure that we provide a conducive environment for business continuity.
Respect for the environment
The company's Annual Report 2008/2009 clearly stipulates that Environmental Protection is a key aspect of the company's "Corporate Social Responsibility". Because the company's data centre operations represent one of its core business areas (with more than 120,000m² of space in 37 sites in 19 capital cities), our shareholders place a particular focus on this activity.
In addition to internal environmental directives, Telehouse's Data Centres are also categorised under the French "I.C.P.E." (classified environmental protection facility) scheme. This legal framework sets out a number of environmental restrictions, which naturally guide efforts in this area and include a set of obligations and targets in areas such as: Noise, Water Management, Water Treatment, etc.
In July 2008, Telehouse received ISO 14001 certification, demonstrating effective environmental management in the construction and operation of our data centres and our commitment to continue with efforts in this area. All our maintenance and operating procedures include risk assessment processes. This enables us to take steps to minimise the potential impact of our activities on the environment.
