Why use a virtual server ?
A virtual server offers all the same functions as a physical server, with an added benefit:
a high-availability infrastructure and our high-performance, high-range servers.
You can use a virtual server to host your websites, applications, databases and files with complete transparency.
Telehouse is the leading server hosting company with years of expertise. We can provide you with a "dedicated virtual server", managed according to your needs.
Why virtualise ?
A number of studies into the average load of a physical server have shown that, on average, a server only uses between 10% and 20% of its total resources. Virtualisation can therefore use the resources of each server more effectively, by sharing these resources.

How it works
A virtual server works in the same way as a physical server, but without the limitations imposed by physical components. The virtualisation process involves adding a software layer, known as a "Hypervisor", between the machine and the OS.
The hypervisor manages communication between the components (CPU, RAM, hard drives, network cards, etc.) and the virtualised systems. Data are stored on a SAN (Storage Area Network), ensuring maximum availability of each server. In the event of a fault with a physical server, the virtual server is able to reboot without data loss, as the data and the system are stored separately.
